Workshops are a substantial contribution NDA offers to Faculty in order to promote their development, regarding both soft skills, and more specifically, pedagogical skills. Teachers are invited to draw their own developmental pathways, maybe following some of the most commonly identified by NDA team.

- For Teaching Assistants: 4 half-day workshop “Teaching STEM Students Transformation Guide” for IST Teaching Assistants
- Growing your skills in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education: A choice of workshops from de framework, including at least one from each of the three areas – assessment, design and delivery, according to self-diagnosed needs, or identified through the observation of classes (LINK)
- Striving for Teaching Excellence: Support and Marketing for Pedagogical Innovation Proposals (PIP) promoted by IST Pedagogical Council – https://conselhopedagogico.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/en/pip-projetos-de-inovacao-pedagogica/
- For Masters and PhD Supervisors: Workshop “Coaching for Dissertation”
- For Tutors: Specific training activities, including tutoring skills in general and with specific groups – students with special educational needs, with academic performance to improve and excellent academic performance
- Programme Coordinators, Department Leaders and Research Centers: leadership, teamwork, communication and emotional intelligence workshops
